This past weekend, the Mulleys (minus 2 dogs) packed up and headed to Virginia Beach for a quick overnight trip. My sister, Amy who lives down in Florida, was going to be there with her running club promoting their upcoming marathon and running the Rock n' Roll half-marathon. It's not often that she is so close so we took the opportunity to see her. She hadn't met Dave or Jack yet, so it was extra special. Granny met us at our hotel and then rode over to the ocean front with us to get Amy. We got some lunch and then Dave and I took Jack down the water so he could dip in toes in one more time.

After lunch, we headed over to the race expo to look around and meet some of Amy's co-workers from Running Zone. It was a great expo with lots of vendors selling their wares.

Jack was once again an excellent traveler. He slept nearly the whole way to Virginia and most of the way home. I'm so glad that he is enjoying car rides more.
