Shawn Says...Parts 16 & 17

 Okay, okay, okay! I didn't post last week (and I heard about it from a few people) so now you get two updates in one!

March 21st:

"Painters will be completed today. Bath and kitchen top will be installed on Monday. Tile will begin on Tuesday and take the rest of the week to complete. Hoping for better weather next week to knockout driveway and sidewalk."

March 28th:

"Prime and paint have been completed. Tile for the floors and walls completed today. Backsplash tile is on schedule for Monday. Trades will begin trim outs late next week."

Shawn Says...Part 15

"Cabinets have been installed. Trim and doors have also been installed this week. Prime and first paint started on Thursday. Paint takes five days to completed and then tile will be installed."

What an exciting visit we had today! Everything is really coming together and it's so fun to watch. Sadly, I feel like our weekly sneaky visits will be coming to an end soon as they will start locking the doors to protect the finishings.

Shawn Says...Part 14

"Stone veneer was completed week. Drywall was completed today. Cabinets have been delivered and will be installed Monday. Trim and interior doors will be installed on Tuesday/Wednesday. Prime and first paint will start on Thursday." 

It was another productive week of work on the house. It's really starting to come together and feel like a real house. We are excited to see the updates coming up, too. Hopefully, we will get our official closing date soon!

Shawn Says...Part 13

"My drywall crew is still working on your home. The final day of drywall is next Friday. Cabinets will be installed the follow week. Siding has been completed and my mason has started the stone veneer prep today."

Update #13 seems to have been a lucky one for us. It was so fun to go over to the house and see all of the new updates! It's really starting to feel like a house now. The kids are a little bummed that they can't walk through the walls like ghosts anymore, but I am happy to see real walls up!
